Tacos Setlist ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and an encrypted password. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
User Content: Taco reviews, ratings, photos, and poll votes you submit. This content is public and visible to other users.
Device Information: We may collect general device type, operating system version, app version, and basic analytics events for app compatibility, crash troubleshooting, and product improvement.
Location: Only accessed when you choose to find taco spots or shows near you. We do not track your location in the background.
Photos: If you submit a taco review with images, we access only the photos you choose from your device and store the uploaded review images with your review.
We use your information to provide and improve the Tacos Setlist experience, including displaying reviews and ratings, enabling Fan Picks voting, showing nearby taco spots and tour dates, and communicating important updates about the app.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase, a cloud database platform with enterprise-grade security. Authentication is handled through Supabase Auth with encrypted password hashing. We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only modify their own data.
We use the following third-party services: Supabase (database and authentication), Apple MapKit and Google Maps/Google Play services (maps and location-based search), Firebase (app analytics and platform services), Spotify (music embeds), Bandsintown (tour dates), and Expo/EAS (app builds and updates). Each service has its own privacy policy.
You can browse taco reviews and tour dates without creating an account. You can delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. You can choose not to grant location permissions and the app will still function.
Tacos Setlist is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
